With its fully-sealed and rugged construction, the Camtraptions Flash Housing provides a speedlight flash with complete protection in outdoor photography set-ups.

• Compatible with all Camtraptions flash models and many other third-party speedlights.
• Available with your choice of either a clear window or an IR (infrared) filter window. The front window can be easily swapped to change between visible light photography and infrared photography.
• You can purchase the housing with a clear window and add the IR window separately if you want to be able to use both types.
• A 15.5mm diameter cable entry point, which comes pre-sealed with a waterproof plug, can be used to run in external power and wired flash signals through the Waterproof Cable System or a Waterproof Cable Gland. This allows an external flash battery to be changed without ever opening up the housing.
• A built-in valve automatically equalises pressure differentials arising from temperature or altitude changes, while maintaining the unit’s waterproofing.
• The housing has a Jungle Mounts compatible dual mounting base, which can be fastened with two 9mm rust-resistant clamps (supplied). This base can also be used to mount the housing on any standard tripod, ball head, quick release plate or dual quick release plate (to prevent twisting).
• Fully compatible with the new Jungle Mounts Pan-Tilt Bracket. This part allows the Flash Housing to be securely mounted on a Tree Bracket or Branch Bracket, while providing complete range of motion in all axes.
• Easy to open and access equipment.
• Additional Reinforcing Clamps can be applied on the rubber end seals to give an extremely strong hold, IP68 sealing and tampering prevention.
• Enough space inside for a flash, 5Ah battery, Receiver, Flash Power Cable and Wireless Trigger Voltage Regulator.
• Wireless signals can pass clearly through the housing material.
• The flash can be mounted inside the housing with or without a Receiver unit.
