Waterproof Battery Enclosures
These metal Waterproof Battery Enclosures are completely sealed against moisture. They can be used to safely and conveniently store your camera trap batteries in a central location, which also makes it much easier and faster to access and change them when you visit the camera trap.
The Waterproof Battery Enclosures are made from 304 stainless steel for excellent strength, corrosion resistance and UV light protection.
A low-profile welded loop on the back of the enclosure can be used to securely attach the enclosure to trees or branches with Jungle Mounts straps.
Power and signals can be run into or out of the Waterproof Battery Enclosures via the fully sealed Female Waterproof Enclosure Entry Cable.
Other standard cables, for example from solar panels, can also be run into the battery enclosures in a sealed manner by using Waterproof Cable Entry Glands.
Silica packs can be placed inside the battery enclosures to keep the atmosphere completely dry and free from condensation.
The Waterproof Battery Enclosures are available in two sizes, 800ml and 3200ml:
800ml Enclosure:
- Ideal for containing up to 2x 6V 5Ah Rechargeable Flash Battery or 2x NP-F batteries with compact adapters.
- Maximum internal dimensions: 150mm (l) x 105mm (w) x 60mm (d)
- Maximum external dimensions: 167mm (l) x 127mm (w) x 70mm (d)
- Weight: 327g
- Features 1x 15.5mm diameter hole, compatible with the Female Waterproof Enclosure Entry Cable and Waterproof Cable Entry Gland.
3200ml Enclosure:
- Ideal for containing 2x 6V 10Ah Rechargeable Flash Battery and multiple NP-F batteries with compact adapters.
- Maximum internal dimensions: 215mm (l) x 165mm (w) x 100mm (d)
- Maximum external dimensions: 238mm (l) x 188mm (w) x 110mm (d)
- Weight: 661g
- Features 2x 15.5mm diameter holes, compatible with the Female Waterproof Enclosure Entry Cable and Waterproof Cable Entry Gland.
- Supplied with 1x waterproof blanking plug, so that any unused hole can be kept fully sealed.

What is the Waterproof Cable System?
The Camtraptions Waterproof Cable System offers a new way to set up and provide power to camera traps. The cables within this new system contain 5 cores: two high-current power wires and three signal wires. The system can therefore carry trigger signals between devices (such as from a camera to the flashes), as well as provide power to all of these devices from a single set of batteries, stored in an accessible central enclosure.
