Wireless Trigger Voltage Regulator
The Wireless Trigger Voltage Regulator cable connects to the Flash Power Cable in order to draw power from the same 6V battery that is used to power the Camera Trap Flash.
This cable efficiently converts the voltage to 3V, which is suitable for the Camtraptions Wireless Receiver used to trigger the flash. The Wireless Trigger Voltage Regulator cable simply plugs into the side of the Receiver.
In this way, a single 6V Ni-MH Rechargeable battery can be used to power both the Camera Trap Flash and its Receiver.
When using a Camtraptions Solar Panel to recharge the external 6V battery, it is still possible to power the Wireless Receiver with this Wireless Trigger Voltage Regulator cable by using a 4-way DC Splitter Cable.
Alternatively, this cable can be connected to an NP-F Battery Plate to power the Wireless Receiver with an NP-F lithium battery.
